What are our main emotions?

According to different approaches, people have 6 or 8 basic emotions. These are:

Pleasure

In other words: happiness, pleasure, fun, happiness, joy, relief, satisfaction, bliss, pride, excitement, charm, satisfaction, euphoria.

Sadness

In other words: anxiety, sadness, joy, gloom, melancholy, self-pity, loneliness, sadness, despair, depression.

Surprise

In other words: wonder, shock, amazement, bewilderment, surprise.

Fear

In other words: anxiety, fear, nervousness, anxiety, startle, bad anticipation, caution, hesitation, irritability, horror, fright, panic.

Anger

In other words: rage, resentment, irritability, outrage, frustration, bitterness, hostility, resentment, irritability, violence.

Disgust

In other words: contempt, contempt, contempt, disgust, aversion, discomfort, irritation.

Anxiety of expectation

In other words: prevention, prognosis, anticipation, anxiety

Trust
